May

May brings fresh green leaves and  blossom, sunshine and showers and longer days.

Mahonia can always be relied upon to bring a splash of colour to the spring garden

The exhibition 'Kaffe Fassett A Life in Colour' at the London Fashion & Textile Museum is well worth a visit. It is on until the end of June. You will be stunned by the kaleidoscope of colour. There are over 100 exhibits including  shawls, jackets, throws, patchwork quilts and hats  ....

The exhibition shop sells books, fabrics, yarns, kits and jewellery

  1. Hi Maureen! May is a wonderful month, isn't it? Everything is so clean and fresh, and evry day brings new blooms! Mahonia is getting very popular here in the Pacific Northwest with the introduction of new varieties. I have two baby plants which appeared from nowhere in my garden.
Thank you for your comments on my blog! It looks like I could be again in London next year, and I can use your suggestions. All the best,
    Tatyana
