Spring after a wet winter

This has been an exceptionally wet winter in the UK and home, gardens, roads and meadows have been flooded when rivers burst their banks. We are halfway up a hill so thankfully were in no danger. The weather has been mild and so we have escaped snow and gardens are well advanced

Cyclamen flowering in a Southampton City park in February

Cyclamen in my garden at the end of January

Spring flowering hellebore

A camellia in a jug on the windowsill  (brown edges caused by rain not frost)

Corsican hellebore

My grandson picked these catkins for me

A variegated coronilla flowering on the patio

A pink polyanthus brightens up the patio
